This quilted tweed jacket was inspired by one of Ireland’s finest explorers Ernest Shackleton. Shackleton was a resilient, determined and optimistic man who understood the importance of collaboration and team work. He was skilled at improvisation and was a man not afraid to throw away the rulebook and think outside of the box. With this in mind we have fused the knitted and the woven yarns indigenous to Ireland with our love of Irish tweed cloths to bring you the Shakelton Jacket.A truly versatile jacket that can be dressed up or down and is perfect for the modern man who enjoys out door pursuits such as hunting, fishing or attending car and horse shows. It is a garment that was born out of the notion of exploring and adventure fuelled with optimism for the things to come, this is a piece of Irish design that you will have for life.
