Oak tweed is not the same as a traditional brown herringbone tweed. While both sit within a warm natural colour family, oak herringbone tweed is lighter, softer and more neutral, with oat, taupe, stone, beige and gentle brown tones woven through a classic herringbone pattern. A darker brown tweed usually carries deeper peat, russet, burgundy and country tones. Oak tweed feels more refined and versatile, making it easy to style with cream knitwear, denim, black, navy, camel, tan leather and soft winter neutrals.
