The Three Shopping Days of Christmas: Celebrate Irish Design at Celtic Tweed, Dublin

Christmas in Dublin has a magic all its own — the glow of Grafton Street lights, the warm bustle of holiday shoppers, and the familiar joy of finding the perfect gift. This year, Celtic Tweed is proud to bring something truly special to the heart of the city with The Three Shopping Days of Christmas, a festive series of pop-up events celebrating Irish design, Irish craftsmanship, and the makers who continue to shape our creative landscape.

Across three Sundays, our store at 28 South Anne’s Lane, just off Grafton Street, will transform into a destination for discovering Irish-made gifts, beautiful textiles, handcrafted jewellery, luxury sleepwear, contemporary knitwear, and of course, our own Celtic Tweed tailoring. Each event brings together a different lineup of Irish designers — all under one roof, all thoughtfully curated for Christmas gifting.

These pop ups are our way of giving Dublin a space to slow down, meet the makers, feel the fabrics, and purchase gifts that carry real meaning. At a time of year when shopping can feel rushed or impersonal, we wanted to create something more soulful — a celebration of local craft, heritage, and the creativity that makes Irish design so distinctive.

Sunday 23rd November | 11am–5pm

Magpie Rose Jewellery

Magpie Rose brings an elegant selection of handcrafted jewellery made with natural semi-precious stones. Each piece feels personal and expressive, making it a thoughtful Christmas gift for someone who loves meaningful accessories with a touch of natural beauty.

Moon + Mellow

Moon + Mellow will showcase their beautifully designed sleepwear — soft, considered pieces perfect for gifting or indulging in yourself this Christmas. Their prints and silhouettes bring a sense of luxury to everyday comfort, making them an ideal choice for festive mornings or cosy winter nights.

Celtic Tweed

Celtic Tweed will present a curated selection of our tweed coats for men and women, crafted in Balbriggan by skilled Irish tailors. These pieces blend timeless elegance with modern practicality, making them perfect gifts for anyone who appreciates Irish-made outerwear and Irish craftsmanship. Our wider collection will also be available in store.

Sunday 30th November | 11am–5pm

Eadach by Sara O’Neill

Eadach by Sara O’Neill brings her signature printed silks — richly artistic, instantly recognisable, and famously worn on The Traitors. These pieces make extraordinary gifts for those who love wearable art inspired by Irish mythology, landscape, and storytelling.

Urban Aran

Urban Aran will showcase their contemporary luxury knitwear, inspired by Irish art and culture. Their pieces reinterpret traditional knitwear with bold, modern design, offering warmth, personality, and style — perfect for anyone looking for unique winter layers.

Celtic Tweed

For this second festive Sunday, Celtic Tweed will feature a range of our tweed jackets and waistcoats for men and women — pieces that balance heritage tailoring with relaxed contemporary styling. From structured silhouettes to versatile layering options, these pieces make exceptional Irish-made gifts that last well beyond the season. You’ll also be able to browse more styles from our seasonal collection in store.

Sunday 7th December | 11am–5pm

Capulet & Montague

Capulet & Montague bring modern, artistic jewellery collections that pair sculptural design with striking visual appeal. If you’re looking for a statement gift with individuality and craftsmanship, their work offers something truly memorable.

Laura Chambers Cashmere

Laura Chambers presents her handloomed cashmere collections, lovingly made in Dublin. Her pieces redefine luxury: soft, tactile, and made with extraordinary care. These are lifetime gifts — the kind someone will cherish and wear for years.

Celtic Tweed

To close our festive series, Celtic Tweed will spotlight a selection of our tweed gifting favourites, including tweed snoods, capes, notebooks, and other small accessories ideal for thoughtful Christmas gifting. Each piece is made in Dublin using natural fibres, offering warmth and character for the winter season. Our full AW collection will also be available in store for shoppers looking for Irish-made men’s and women’s fashion with heritage woven into every stitch.

Why We’re Hosting This Festive Celebration

At Celtic Tweed, our mission has always been to keep Irish craft alive — not just in how we make our clothing, but in how we support the wider Irish design community. These three pop-up events reflect our commitment to:

  • Supporting local makers and Irish-owned brands

  • Championing Irish-made gifts and sustainable production

  • Offering customers meaningful alternatives to mass-produced Christmas shopping

  • Celebrating craftsmanship, heritage, and creativity

  • Bringing people back into Dublin city for a festive, local shopping experience

We want shoppers to experience the beauty of these products in person: to feel the textures, meet the makers, hear the stories behind each piece, and enjoy the atmosphere of a festive Irish design event right in the city centre.

What to Expect: Craftsmanship, Community, and Christmas Spirit

Across all three Sundays, guests can enjoy:

Live weaving demonstrations — see the skill and artistry that goes into producing quality Irish textiles.
Chats with our in-house historian — discover the story of Irish tailoring, regional textiles, and the history behind the pieces.
Warm, festive atmosphere — a relaxed and inspiring alternative to the usual holiday shopping rush.
Perfect Irish-made Christmas gifts — from jewellery and silks to cashmere, sleepwear, tweed coats, jackets, and small gifting accessories.

Every designer involved brings something unique, yet they share the same values: quality, authenticity, and Irish creativity.
